Lead the Collections-Mediation development team in the AMS-Tapestry project for Arcor Mannesmann, a new private fixed wire communications network operator based in Germany. The project's goal was to build the next generation Customer Care and Billing System (CCBS) for telecommunication operators, using next generation technologies like C++, Oracle databases, Object Oriented methodologies in a UNIX environment.

As a member of the AMS-Tapestry project for Arcor Mannesmann, I worked on the Batch Billing component, having responsibilities that included requirements business analysis, detailed design, coding and unit testing. My area was focused in the processes responsible for starting and controlling all the Billing Stream.

Member of the Regional Services (D2*) project for Mannesmann Mobilfunk GmbH. The project introduced a logical network within the existing physical GSM network, in order to provide the client with a business tool that supports a competitive marketing strategy. My responsibilities included business analysis, detailed design of software enhancements to the existing customer care and billing system, as well as coding and unit testing.

Member of the PRISM (billing system) project for Telecel (Vodafone). I was part of the team mainly involved in the PRISM maintenance, like bug fixing and addition of new functionality to the system according to new requirements. Worked in the Real Time Rating project where I was involved in porting the Reference Data Interface buffering of the Message Processing subsystem to Unix platform. It was needed to translate all the VAX MACRO routines of the Reference Data Interface buffering to C language.

In co-operation with INESC (Instituto Nacional de Engenharia de Sistemas e Computadores, Coimbra-Portugal), I was involved in a project to develop a planning system for Energy Management. The project started with requirements analysis which led to the development of a prototype. For the analysis a CASE tool was used and for the implementation phase a GUI was used. The programming language used was C and C++ built in a DOS platform.
