Development and organisation of External Quality Assurance Schemes (EQAS) for diagnostics of infectious diseases and blood safety. The GBD is an EQA manufacturer working in close collaboration with scientific societies, federal institutes, international organisations, and several national or international target value laboratories. Since June 2013, active as Assistant EQAS Adviser in Virology for INSTAND e.V., Society for Promoting Quality Assurance in Medical Laboratories e.V.
