Topic: A widely Tunable Low Noise Amplifier for Mobile Communications Chip Design and Layout of a high performance widely Tunable Low Noise Amplifier for the Mobile Communication market. Target: - Frequency of operation from 1.5 GHz to 3.6 GHz divided in bands of operation - Gain(S21) 21 db, - sub 0.9db Noise Figure, - Input(S11) and Output(S22) reflection coefficients better than -11db for all bands of operation according to switching state - Highly Linear under constrained power consumption.

- Characterization and verification of high-frequency switches for mobile applications by measuring S-parameters, harmonics and intermodulation products - Evaluation, interpretation and presentation of measurement data - Automation of laboratory instruments and measurement data analysis using MATLAB® - Assembly of packaged and non-packaged semiconductor components on printed circuit boards

- Hardware planning and Printed Circuit Board Layouts of new products. - Development of the user interface of the first low cost Brazilian professional RDS encoder using HTML, JavaScript and embedded C. - Customer support in equipment specifications and functionalities.

- Research of possibilities for measuring with outstanding precision fA level current generated by the institute photodiodes. - Development of a virtual instrument in LabVIEW for continuous current level data acquisition and storage through the DDC11X Evaluation module from Texas Instruments. - Documentation of the developed virtual instrumen

- Development of electronic circuits through software such as OrCad for Printed Circuit Board designs and ADS (Advanced Design System), Genesis and PSpice for simulations. - Assembly of SMD components onto developed printed circuit boards. - Prototype testing as well as RF performance enhancement through antenna and matching elements measurement and calculation.

- Full responsibility in the preparation and lecturing of the practical classes of analog electronics including semester examinations. - The subject coverage in analog electronics was in Operational Amplifier's linear and non-linear applications.
