Pedro Junior

Pedro Oliveira C. Junior received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the São Paulo State University, UNESP, Brazil, in 2020, with a period of a sandwich doctorate at the Fraunhofer Joint Laboratory of Excellence on Advanced Production Technology of the University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy. He is currently a professor of the Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering (PPGEE) at UNESP, Bauru campus, Brazil. His research interests are focused on digital signal processing, fault diagnosis, sensor systems, acoustic emission, piezoelectric transducers, data acquisition, machine learning, pattern recognition, and monitoring systems for manufacturing and industrial automation. He authored/co-authored more than 40 technical papers in refereed journals and conference proceedings. He is a reviewer of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, IEEE Sensors Journal and, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing.
