As the COO, I had the unique opportunity of contributing to build and develop a fast growing network organization of engineering service companies with the goal of becoming a valued partner of choice in the fields of civil, building, infrastructure, and energy engineering in the DACH area.

Evolved from VP Production and VP Manufacturing Operations & Supply Chain with continuously increasing responsibilities and tasks. Held CHF 250M revenue responsibility and oversaw up to 65 direct reports and 150 indirect reports. Challenged to improve operational performance and processes. Managed expansion and downsizing phases including workforce changes.

Challenged to lead global production planning and supply chain planning for smart cards and headend systems (IT hardware). Managed inventory, material handling, warehousing, and customer facing delivery planning with a team of 10 reports.

Led Operations on 3 sites with 230 people while assuming the role of Plant Manager and Managing Director for the largest site (a factory with 200 people). Tasked to improve operational performance and integrate the organization into the division structure of IMI Precision Engineering (post-merger). Member of the core executive team together with the Managing and Finance Director.

Entrusted to take on additional responsibility for Quality and Regulatory Affairs and for a part of the product development team after initial hire as Director of Manufacturing. Executive team member and reported directly to the founder and CEO.

Promoted to take over the management of the Process and Technology team after initial hire as Project Manager. Led a multi-disciplinary team of 7 scientists and engineers to deliver process development and technology transfer projects.

Managed the external manufacturing of electronic integrated circuits for automotive and consumer electronics applications in all technical and business aspects. Built partnerships with two of the world’s leading IC contract manufacturers (wafer foundries) in Asia from scratch.
