Working as independent consultant helping companies building out my customers applications and infrastructure for highly available distributed systems. I was the second EU hire and I helped build and shape the EU SRE team while dealing with constant fires in our production environments. Member of the SRE team that owned the production environment consisting of a 1500 servers in over 10 data centers across the globe running hundreds of Elasticsearch cluster instances. These clusters stored several Petabytes of data for our customers.

Performed architecture overview of the AWS infrastructure to improve the security and compliance. Terraform, RDS, EC2, S3, ECS, Codebuild and lots of security tools.

As a member of the small but efficient Systems Engineering team I co-owned the entire infrastructure in AWS, our Terraform code base and lots of helping utilities while being part of the on-call rotation ensuring 24/7 operations. I introduced Prometheus and Grafana to improve observability of the Kubernetes infrastructure and applications. Developed Go-based Lambda functions for gluing together various AWS services and making sure our CI/CD pipelines where top-notch.

Shipped games into production at amazing speeds. Responsible for setting up commit to deploy pipelines for both server backend applications and game applications. Building new solutions from version control, build systems, monitoring, metrics, backups, containerisation, to orchestration while improving the existing infrastructure. Worked with CI/CD for Spotify client software. Developed, automated, and maintained the infrastructure that enabled faster feed back loop for Windows, OS X, Linux, Android, and iOS applications. Herded a team of Devopsy cats who are working towards full data center automation with infrastructure teams and continuous application deployment with development teams. I focused on how to deliver actual business value with the help of software development. I always questioned the status quo and strove for a less broken world. I wrote tooling in any language available and appropriate for the task, a short list being: Python, Ruby, Golang and C.

Developed deployment pipelines to enable continuous delivery of software products to production systems. This meant fixing everything from source control, build systems, packaging systems to establishing sustainable workflows for critical infrastructure. Used any tool that is needed to create an awesome software development and deployment experience.

In this role I was responsible for the build, packaging and delivery chain for a large software development organization with development in Stockholm, Göteborg, Linköping, Nizhni Novgorod, Zagreb, Split, Hyderabad, Ottowa and Beijing. The software platforms developed are used as basis for the radio access and core network nodes in the Ericsson portfolio.

Worked as build and integration engineer for a large software and hardware platform fo for radio access and core network nodes. In this role I played a instrumental role in introducing a fully automated nightly build, integration, packaging, and delivery process. This included developing new tools and integrating tools into existing frameworks.

Worked with system testing of a platform for radio access and core network applications. This included regression testing on a system level, automation of test cases in TCL/Expect, test environment improvements, and configuration management in ClearCase.
