Preparation of business development or restructuring plans in conjunction with regional businesses for presentation to senior management. Determination of project costs and investment and financial evaluation of potential operational alternatives. Projects included the off-shoring of production capacity from the USA to South America, production capacity expansion in China, relocation and consolidation of production operations within the USA and the establishment of a Greenfield production site in Brazil.

Timeliness and accuracy of the sites’ monthly closing data and quarterly forecasts (9 manufacturing sites in China, Thailand, Indonesia and India, USGAAP). Lead analysis and preparation of the monthly and quarterly reports for company management. Tracking of cost reduction countermeasures or selling price pass-through initiatives to offset changes in input costs. Challenge and support the development of the sites’ capital investment proposals. Tracking of capital equipment spend / commitment against budget.

Preparation of market analysis (new and existing) and 5 year strategic plan documentation. Support individual BUs in preparation of acquistion (3 of, in Indonesia, Russia and China + 1 global entity) as well as divestiture projects (2 of, both in France).
