Dr. Phil Gamble

I was an analyst in the Air & Weapons Systems Department at Dstl. My experience has exposed to me projects requiring a deep technical specialism, through to systems engineering of bigger picture problems. This exposure has allowed me to demonstrate how I can quickly generate expertise in technical areas without losing sight of the wider picture and lead a project through to completion. My experience at Dstl has also included working in a military headquarters in Helmand province, Afghanistan.

I was responsible for the maintenance and construction of practical teaching equipment, development of A-Level experiments and the supply of technical support to the teaching staff. I was instrumental in the reorganization and streamlining of the support system, which then enabled me to spend time designing and developing new experiments for advanced students
