    • Designed and implemented CCS-NMPC (Continuous Control Set Nonlinear MPC) controllers in MATLAB Simulink using the IPOPT solver in CasADi, targeting current tracking and neutral-point voltage balancing. • Performed transient and steady-state analysis, demonstrating faster dynamic response, reduced Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and tight neutral point voltage ripple balancing. • Benchmarked MPC vs. classic FCS-MPC and PI using a load current step to validate controller robustness.

    • Developed equivalent circuit models (ECM) for HV battery systems using Python, utilizing test data to create SOC vs. OCV relationships and identify key battery parameters to further simulate performance and aging effects. • Conducted calendar aging and cyclic testing of battery modules, using the Digatron Battery Tester, at varying temperatures, SOC levels, and C-rates to generate the test data required for the ECMs.
