I am employed in the powertrain design division within the R&D department. My role involves designing various components for sealing systems (such as oil seals, O-rings, gaskets, and grommets), lubrication systems (including oil pumps, oil filters, and oil strainers), and exhaust systems for both internal combustion engines and electric vehicles. Additionally, I focus on enhancing the quality of crankcases, covers, transmission cases, and motor housings through quality management system.

The company engineers, builds and operates industrial gas plants. As an engineer in the piping and layout department, I was responsible for the layout of overall plant facilities, the placement of equipment and process units in the plot, and the connected piping design as per the applicable regulations and standards to ensure safe operation of the facilities for the design life. This includes pipe routing, material selection, and stress analysis.

• Worked on ‘Smart valve’, a New Product Development (NPD) project to develop an IoT based flow control valve. Included a detail study of techniques to monitor valve and predict its health & future failure causes. • I proposed two commercial techniques for leakage detection: acoustic and thermal. • Surveyed & finalized off the shelf sensors to monitor following parameters: leakage, vibration, pressure, temperature & torque.

The course is focused on the technologies that are shaping the industry of automotive, which are domains of autonomy, shared mobility, and electric vehicles. My study is focused on: 1) AI & Autonomous driving (e.g. Autonomous driving with artificial intelligence) 2) E-Powertrain (From charging technology and battery to wheel) 3) Sustainable mobility & Production Technology (e.g. sustainable production, environmentally friendly power generation, car sharing)
