NetQoS and provide performance management software to improve application delivery across some of the world’s most complex networks, including half of the Fortune 100. I was appointed to lead client-focussed direct touch and drive sales from vision creation to proof of concept.

In this role I drove workshop initiatives to ensure partner comprehension of technology releases and upgrades, stabilized market scalability through effective stakeholder engagement, and rebuilt corporate reputation with minimal partner losses across the channel partner landscape, as trusted focal point for the business following Bluecoat’s acquisition.

As a member of the pre-sales team, I was appointed to develop McAfee’s sales channels and present best solution outcomes to the client. I quickly progressed to the role of Instructor, to deliver training to internal teams, channel partners and end-users, following successful completion of certified instructor training for EMEA gateway security.

I rapidly advanced from Implementation Engineer to Pre-Sales Engineer to support partners during technical planning cycles across central Europe, for the first vendor in Europe to build decision making rules for the support of devices into VLAN.

First post-sales engineer to start from a green field with support responsibilities in expanding multi-vendor know-how such as Cisco, ACC, Networth, Wellfleet and of course UB manufactured hardware gear. Formed own service and support department and built a team

Appointed on a temporary contract to support internal IT issues across 260 end-users; resolved first line queries and progressed to onsite second level support. Instrumental to the restructuring of internal infrastructure; key member of team that rebuilt the computer centre to reinforce migration from OS 2 to Windows NT
