In my master studies, I completed modules in technical translation of Mandarin. My personal focus was on migration and globalisation issues, both in general and concerning the region Southeast Asia. In my master thesis "Migration of Southeast asians to Germany" I carried out qualitative interviews with Southeast asian migrants in Germany concerning their migration decisions and processes, and analysed the results with prominent migration theories, both of economic and sociologic sciences.
