Helped to establish a Shared Services Center for Dionex Europe. The Shared Service Center supports the operations of 12 European subsidiaries of Dionex Corporation spanning 10 countries. Managed AP, AR, Credit and Collections, and Payroll. Managed all operations for the four above-mentioned departments: writing policies & procedures, overseeing daily transactions activities, month-end close, communication with subsidiaries, SOX compliance, management reporting, etc.

SOX compliance - successful implementation of PCAOB AS-5 in first year on job. Managed updating, streamlining, and maintenance of corporate SOX documentation including Process Narratrives and Risk Control Matrices. Tested internal controls in fiscal years 2008 and 2009 in the USA, Germany, Italy, and United Kingdom.

Experienced in all facets of financial auditing including planning, testing, documentation, reporting, etc. Coordinated audit team including partners, managers, audit staff and client personnel to ensure adherence to budgets and schedules. In-depth knowledge of SOX internal control requirements including PCAOB AS-5. Clients included public companies subject to SEC reporting regulations with revenues of $300M+. Researched technical literature to determine applicability of existing regulations.

Conducted audits of employee benefit plans for unions. The plans included defined benefit and defined contribution pension plans and various health and welfare plans. Developed working relationships with Third Party Administrator bookkeepers.
