The “Business Lead” is an integration program for educated asylum seekers in collaboration with Finnish businesses and social start-ups. My responsibility was the identification and creation of mobile learning content on various topics of business administration. I also recruited participants and had financial responsibility for organising live lectures. Previous volunteering and cultural awareness were valuable backgrounds for this job.

On a daily basis, I analysed studies’ feasibility and calculated their costs. Close collaboration with the project team and sustainment of great customer relations were integral responsibilities in sales and business development. My customers valued my honest and cooperative character.

I helped to create an impact study framework analysing the effects of a direct trading scheme on coffee farm development. I also worked on coffee quality control and assisted in the U.S. import office.

My responsibilities were the composition of letters of reference based on employee appraisals and the monitoring of absenteeism. I also took care of general filing and could overall demonstrate attention to detail and reliability.

For a report of the ministry of the environment, I analysed data on German’s environmental behaviour. For various other customers, I further assessed consumer preferences and mapped out findings and marketing recommendations.

I compiled seminar material and prepared the bookkeeping.

My task was to screen the own pool and professional network services for potential talents and to establish a first contact.

For customers around the world, I contractually handled import and export shipments via sea and air, including dangerous goods declaration and customs clearance, in coordination with subcontractors and overseas offices.

The studies provided a thorough theoretical background on strategic management to tackle organisational and sustainability challenges. Through my degree I also developed strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

The study track addressed the interplay between state and society on sociological, economic and legal levels.
