Managed 6 service and support departments and led over 50 specialist and service & support staff. Member of the senior management team, reporting to the Executive and on the duty manager rota for out-of-hours support. Directly controlled annual staff and Opex budgets of £2.2m.

• Managed a pan-European interdisciplinary research project • Developed a support programme for long-term students which resulted in many previously disengaged students completing their studies successfully. • Led the school’s new student services office from concept, through pilot into implementation and designed a new introductory course offer. Early drop-out rates decreased and students reported high satisfaction. • Designed the first BSc Psychology in Germany
