The idea for Laazi was born in a coffee shop in Dubai - to launch a job portal for the Middle East. Why another job portal? The Middle East already has its fair share of job portals. In fact, there are many excellent portals helping jobseekers find good jobs here. However, what we saw with jobseekers was how frustrating and complicated it was for them to go through the job seeking process. Simplicity. And that was it. Just a simple conversation that ended with "Let's do this". That was back in 2007.
