Management and Execution of Advanced Purchasing tasks of total cost management for purchased parts In related project Bill of Materials (BoM) Ensure efficient purchasing management of new and / critical components including supplier selection and benchmark exercises Manage and train Advanced Purchasing Team on Yazaki Global Purchasing Management System (GPMS)

Supervision of European EDS Advanced Purchasing team for 6 OEM’s / Business Units Oversee cross-functional collaboration with main stakeholders to achieve material savings Accommodate and build sourcing strategy (preferred terms and conditions) in close co-operation with Commodity Purchasing to offset OEM conditions

Overall-responsible for North American (incl. Brazil) Advanced Purchasing Department Supervised execution of Advanced Purchasing tasks supporting the total material cost management of purchased components Established standards and processes in the purchasing organization as well as establishment of standardized material cost saving reporting, roadmap and process Integration of Advanced Supplier Quality (SQE) in Advanced Purchasing department

Overall Bill of Material (BoM) responsibility of Supply Management (SM) preproduction and launch readiness tasks and deliverables in line with pre-production key project milestones (Gates) Identification of material cost improvement opportunities by i.e. localization, Point of Purchase optimization and price/cost negotiations with supply base prior to program launch

Review and negotiate supplier prices incl. preferred terms & conditions as well as lead benchmarking studies, internet auctions and VAVE activities Develop sub-commodity strategy and deploy by leveraging commodity volumes, material standardization and supplier reduction Identify and determine high value products from overseas affiliates for localization in European region and conduct all related localization / point of purchase activities
