Acting as CIO for the business segment “Original Equipment & Special Aircraft Services”, constantly seeking business success by providing excellent IT services. Central design authority for the IT technology domains Design & Engineering, Workforce & Quality Management, Technical Documentation, and Digital Shop Floor Execution & Manufacturing, including IoT, Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Jobcards, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Qualification Management, and Workforce Planning.

Lufthansa Technik’s focal point for Digital Operations & Operational Technology,Manufacturing Execution Systems, Internet of Things, Product Lifecycle Management, Computer Aided Design, Virtual- & Augmented Reality and Technical Documentation. Member of the IT-Architecture board and IT-Strategy board. Acting as CIO for the business units “VIP & Special Mission Aircrafts” and “Original Equipment Innovations”. Management of a cross functional department organized in 5 teams with a total of 80 experts.

Development and provisioning of innovative, reliable and integrated IT-Solutions for the process- and technology domains OT, MES, IoT, AR & VR, CAD and PLM. Responsible IT manager for MES implementation at Lufthansa Technik’s first fully automated shop for maintenance, repair and overhaul of wheels and brakes. Founder of the “Competence Center Digital Operations & IoT” and initiator of campaigns to roll-out standardized OT and IoT technology to foster shop floor digitalization.

Responsible for the reliable operation of CAD, PLM, and AR & VR systems. Development and execution of CAD and AR & VR technology roadmaps for the LHT group. Initiation and implementation of technology innovation projects to enhance engineering- and production process efficiency and quality.
