    Tunable Multiband-Filter with Flexible Transmission Zeros: designed four prototypes of microwave filters, which have tunable center-frequencies and bandwidths. More importantly, two transmission zeros were added to sharpen the filters’ transition bands. Furthermore, the transmission zeros were employed to suppress interference from other frequency components.

    0-2-1 Structure Sigma-Delta DAC Converter with Pipelines: designed an important component of digital circuit DAC Converter, where sigma-delta is a specific structure as respect to algorithm, which can push noise to irrelevant frequency band, therefore high SNR can be obtained. The algorithm was tested in Matlab environment and then translated into Verilog, so that it was convenient to implement it on FPGA board with ARM architecture.

    Distributed Localization and Tracking by Particle Filters: • investigated an algorithm to localize a static target considering the data fusion of several localization algorithms, including Direction of Arrival (DOA), Time of Arrival (TOA) and Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA). The implemented distributed localizer can even work for slow-moving target. However, a dynamic target was tracked by modifying particle filter, which is special realization of Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC).
