As Business Partner to the Vice President & General Manager, I lead the development of the Operations function at multiple sites with global P&L ownership for the Strategic Business Unit HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). In this role I oversee the Company's day-to-day Operations (from Order to Production to Delivery) as well as areas such as Strategic Sourcing, Industrial Engineering, Trade Compliance, Environment Health & Safety, Facility Management and Globalization Initiatives.

My scope encompasses all aspects of Controllership, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Audits, Cost of Quality, Compliance, Globalization Initiatives and Business Development. This position oversees a team of 17 direct reports.

I led a finance team of 5 people owning all financial planning, reporting & analysis activities related to GE Gas Engines & Services with >$1B in revenues. Generated short- and long-term forecasts for orders, revenues and profitability development including analytics on pricing, product cost, productivity, headcount, functional cost & investment. This position reported directly into the CFO and involved intense interaction with the CEO and his staff.

Managed a finance team of 10 professionals with full responsibility for the overall Finance function of a Business Unit (BU) within GE Gas Engines. BU consists of +600 employees and top line revenue of ~$500 million. Scope encompasses all aspects of Controllership, Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Audits, Cost of Quality, Globalization Initiatives and Business Development

Led finance team of 4 people owning all financial planning, reporting & analysis activities related to the Services organization. Implemented Oracle ERP for Services & Finance as system solution architect in close partnership with external consultants.

Owned controllership & accounting oversight for highly dynamic Services business involving 7 legal entities on a global scale. Drove policy & process compliance across the organization to support sustainable globalization of the business

Graduated from GE’s FMP with Corporate Honors for outstanding performance awarded by Keith Sherin (former CFO of GE). The FMP is an intensive two-year leadership program spanning four rotational assignments and interactive seminars to equip future leaders with exceptional technical, financial and business skills
