Dr. Tobias Hagendorn

I am responsible for the production of APIs from early phase to the commercial scale under cGMP. I carry out risk analyses, cost estimates and prepare production documents like MBRs. During production campaigns I provide shopfloor support if problems arise and lead investigations in case of deviations. During all phases of the campaign I liaise with colleagues from different departments and international customers to ensure an optimal outcome of each batch with regards to EHS, quality and costs.

I worked in the field of bioorthogonal chemistry, creating tools to stain cell surface glycans of different cell types. Besides the work in the lab I gave lab courses, seminars and was responsible for the training of lab assistants.
