• Investigated the potential increase of the electric current in the electrolysis pots. • Investigated and identified the relationship between the pots’ outside and inside temperature. • Evaluated the relationship between the acidity of the bath and the amount of AlF3 present in the pots. • Identified the values of electrical resistance present in the pots which can cause combustion.

• Formulated a procedure for the replacement of saturated carbon with fresh active carbon on the Vapour Recovery Unit (VRU) and supervised it along with my manager. • Completed various tasks related to the refinery shutdown which was about to start in October 2011, such as directing the purchase and storing of new catalysts needed in the production units.

• Carried out daily analyses using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). • Involved within a team of external certified inspectors auditing the existing quality management system and environmental management system according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 respectively.
