Starting a premium single cup solution (coffee-capsule-system) from scratch in 2006 to launch in 2009 to provide top quality espresso and coffee beverages with uncompromising quality and push-button simplicity. Within 2 years successfully rolled out via selected retail partners throughout Europe, Asia and Australia. In March 2012 announcing a strategic partnership with Starbucks introducing Verismo System by Starbucks as a global and exclusive licensee of K-fee-System.

Starting off a full service communication agency as ceo and co-founder in '91 as a one-man business and growing to a mid-sized enterprise with 50 employes and 7 partners in 2007. Setting up "Rotball" as a Silberball spin-off in mid 2006 to focus on start-up and early stage investments. Withdrawal as managing partner and shareholder of Silberball in early 2013.
