• Defining and overseeing system architecture development for Big-Data cloud based web applications using Agile concepts and CI/CD. • Utilized technologies: Web: J2EE, Spring, AngularJS, Cloud: AWS, NoSQL: MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, SQL DB’s: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Web Servers: Tomcat, Nginx on Linux.

• Owned the entire product development, implementation and operation. Defined products plans, risk management, resource allocation & roadmaps. • Invented a new security product for the Avaya enterprise market thereby doubling the total addressable market size. • Extended the product line solution by adding support for a new multi-tenet, cloud based provisioning & management system (Technology: Java, J2EE, Maven, Hibernate, Tomcat, Spring, AWS).

• Responsible for all R&D activities including budget, project, resource planning, tracking and risk management. • Managed a department of 15-20 engineers in 3 development groups: Security Research, Web (Java, J2EE, DBs) and App SW (Linux), employing Agile methodologies. • Headed the product and R&D development process from concept to fully featured multi-tenant Cloud solution, personally coding key components in the application server (C/C++, Linux) and UI (Java, JS, J2EE, DB, Maven, Apache Tomcat)

• Lead a team of 4 developers using a MOD-SCRUM methodology. • Constructed new algorithms for detection of abnormal fraud. • Specified and lead the implementation of all real time security components including: IDS/IPS, NAC, Admission Control, Call auditing & control, VA engine, Fraud detection, quota management and policy control for VOIP traffic

• Defined architecture for a scalable, SaaS application that performs automated image retouching based on facial recognition engine.

• Responsible for development of Lynx next generation optical protection platform targeting the optical Carrier market (Verizon, BT, DT). • In charge of all R&D activities including risk management, tracking, project and resource planning, and budget. • Managed a department of 15-25 engineers in 5 development groups: Embedded SW, Web (Java, J2EE, DBs), HW (board and Logic design), System verification (manual & automation) and System engineering • Lead the system definition and product architecture.

• Headed the Lynx - Nortel OEM certification process, defined, prioritized, and communicated customer requirements in detailed PRD’s. managed project risks, problems and delays. • Lead the development of the LightLeader 4xxx platform. responsible for product work plan across company divisions as well as leading multiple development teams in matrix management

• Implemented a distributed multithreaded, RT optical network switch running on ARM CPU, RTOS: ThreadX & VxWorks. • Implementation and optimization of Digi ARM BSP package I2C, SPI, PCI, TCP stack drivers(C/C++) and SNMP, CLI and embedded web UI’s. • Tasks prioritization, optimized resource allocation and introducing the fix allocation methodology • ARM/PIC CPUs, FPGA/CPLD, RTOS: ThreadX & VxWorks.
