For the assembly, testing, transport and storage of various components in the Pegasus project (design, manufacture and launch of a Cube Satellite) I manufacture parts out of Aluminum, Teflon and peak on a manual milling machine/CNC. Besides working on the Pegasus project I also make other parts needed by students in the department (e.g. using a CNC machine to manufacture an Aluminum mold for a carbon fibre nose cone in the RED rocket project (2015-2016) at the FH Wiener Neustadt).

The goal of this internship was to acquire experience and knowledge in the field of Composite Manufacturing and to prepare for my Master's thesis at the Montan University Leoben in the Summer semester of 2017. Projects I was involved in included: - MoveTech: research on the Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) process in collaboration with FACC AG - Hybrid RTM: research on the manufacturing of metal/carbon composite hybrid parts using the RTM process
