Yasmina Peker

I worked at a center specialized in qualitative research methods, analysis and trainings of qualitative data analysis programs (MAXQDA and Nvivo). Here, I analysed focus groups and in depth interviews for different issues.

Project was on violence against children. Implemented in Istanbul’s socioeconomically low areas; in partnership with local authorities and universities. In the field; technical support, participation in the activities, report and evaluate. Immediate btw. project partners, experts and participants. In office; archiving, translating, support the academic consultants for inside evaluation process. Writing and developing other projects for the Foundation. 2 projects got funded by ISTKA and Consulate of Sweden.

Transcription of tape recordings for researches, seminars and interviews.

English, German and Turkish translations and interpretations are done for various projects, meetings, articles , works. Also, in 2014 I translated a documentary for İZ TV form Turkish to German and several Contracts.

I worked in particularly with the department of Refuge. I translated documents, texts, and articles realizing communication with the other international offices and facilitating information transfer. In addition, I was responsible of the organization of the office environment and documentation of the activities of the association.

Final draft, literature research, practice area investigations and project presentations to the customer of the projects are done. At the termination of preparation of the project, evaluation is reported.
