HS2 Curzon Street New Station Design–Birmingham - Project Controls Manager. HS2 Phase 2B – Crewe to Manchester (NEC3 Option E) – Project Manager on Contract C231 Civils Design and Environmental Services (CDES), a joint venture involving Mott MacDonald Limited and WSP, to develop the design of the Phase 2b Western leg of the High Speed 2 (HS2) railway for hybrid Bill submission in June 2020. Birmingham Gateway Project – Atkins as Lead Consultant Services Total Atkins Fees £40 Millions, Estimated Scheme Value £730 Millions. Responsible for managing the design work required for the refurbishment of the Railway Station building such as Atrium – Upper & Lower Retail Levels & JLP (New Structure). Network Rail No 3 Contract - Construction & Engineering Services Agreement (Emerging Cost Basis).

(Consultant) responsible for supporting Business Development Activities in Europe & Africa. Responsible for providing advice on tender offer issues and delivering documents for various sections (such as Quality Assurance, Compliance, HSE, etc.), using a variety of methods and techniques. Responsible also for Rail Market Research in Turkey and East African Countries.

Management of Railway, Highway & multidisciplinary infrastructure Schemes across Eastern Europe, delivering engineering design services to a range of clients including various National Railways organisations such as the National Romanian Railways (CFR) and Polish Railways (PKP – PLK) & D&B Contractors. Project Fees ranged from €1- €22 millions. Country Manager for Poyry’s operations, Business Development & offices in Bulgaria & Serbia, 20 staff & €2M revenues. Total Projects Portfolio: €40 millions.

Responsible for the delivery of designs in accordance with client’s requirements & appropriate design standards using cost effective methods, business development, change and risk management, programming, financial control of all projects in my cost centre (2010-2011 Annual budget was £2.75-3M) and coordination of work among various parties.

Up to 2006: Managing various rail projects, ranging from £20k to £300k. Responsible for project and technical management of the design work in various bridge reconstruction/refurbishment/repair projects. Before 2006, I worked in various roles, from graduate to PM level, on bridges and highways transportation projects. I worked in Oxford, Warsaw (Poland) & Cambridge.
