I was chartered to design and globally deploy both the Six Sigma methodology and quality management system, engage closely with the Leadership Team to identify the ‘big rocks’ and ensure delivery of deployment benefits via focused project identification, prioritization, management and execution.

I was responsible to lead strategic and operational direction and leadership for quality systems development and Six Sigma implementation, leading and directing the Quality Assurance functions and activities for the organization to ensure the implementation of Quality Assurance systems to ensure that WIP and finished goods specifications are met and that product shipped to customers is within specification.

I was tasked to implement and measure customer experience metrics Asia Pacific (Penang, Malaysia and Xiamen, China facilities) focusing on reducing MWD (Missing, Wrong or Damaged), IFIR (Initial Field Incident Rate), OTFTF (On Time First Time Fix), and STT (Ship-To-Target).

I am responsible to provide strategic and financial support to the Supply Chain Division. In this role, I ensured that budgets & forecasts are complete; sales analysis reports to be completed on a completed on a monthly basis while maintaining strong controls focus through supply chain and engaging with the senior management team to review business plans & quarterly forecasts.

In this role and reporting to Plant Operation Director, I was responsible for managing the overall operations of Plant 2 and for the P&L of the plant to function as an independent Strategic Business Unit (SBU). I was also tasked to implement value added processes to manage plant standards such as on time delivery of all projects, costs, quality and other relative factors.

As Commercial Manager, I took ownership/manage key relationship with external partners engaging them closely on a long term basis. This role also includes being responsible for developing dynamic business models in conjunction with the partner companies and contributing as senior team member to the overall development of the company. I also coordinate across business units and geographies to achieve company goals; and contribute significantly to the medium and long term stability and direction of Motorola.
