Involved in EMC Testing and Measurement of automotive components in EMC chamber. Tests performed during training include conducted immunity tests, conducted and radiated emission tests according to CISPR and ISO standards. Experience with R&S EMI Receiver, CANeo, Spectrum Analyzer. Supporting development team at BMW by performing conducted and radiated emission simulation of Engine Cooling System (Brushless DC motor). Cellular and GPS antenna design/integration in vehicles.

Layout improvement of 3G transceiver PCB, to minimize EM coupling inside PCB so that the transceiver output spectrum fulfills the EM emission requiements by 3GPP. Tools used: ANSYS HFSS, ANSYS SIwave, Cadence Spectre, Idem, MATLAB RF Toolbox. Detail: The crosstalk issue between the digital block and 3G transceiver output stage is investigated in detail. Finally PCB layout changes are made to suppress the unwanted emissions in the transceiver output spectrum.

Protocol Stack Testing of UE for GSM/LTE/UMTS Networks

Development of a FPGA based demonstrator for Power Line Communication System in an Automobile. The tasks included to develop a communication system in Simulink based on BPSK/QPSK modulation and demodulation, and then implementing these modulation schemes on FPGA. Working as a tutor for the organization and management of courses i.e. 'Mobile Communications', 'Signal and Systems', and 'Electromagnetic Field and Wave Theory'. I was also responsible for Communications Lab sessions and supervision of tutorials.
