In combination of tasks as the General Manager of Hella Electronics Shanghai, regional responsibility for the Operations activites of the Electronics Division in China.

Managing Director position with complete P&L responsibility for complex product portfolio. Complete business ownership ranging from organizational management, system process landscape, human resources, FI/CO, Operations, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering, and supporting business development etc. Major focus on Automation, Management System optimization, LEAN methodology etc.

Responsible for Country organization operational activities, BOD for the country organization. Main functional areas like Supply Chain, Process engineering, Industrial automation, material development, Operations Excellence / Lean manufacturing, EHS, quality systems. Also still responsible for Business Group Electrical Appliance Assemblies as Managing Director.

Responsibilites: - Running regional operations organization from plant build, launch and daily running business - Major areas: Plants (and plant organizations), Supply Chain Management (procurment and regional logistics), Manufacturing Engineering, Quality management, HR, IT, Finances (Plant-, Program controlling, and Budgeting), Legal issues (GM of legal entities) - KPI follow up, target setting and business planning - Cost down programs, Investment strategy and follow up

- New plant site build up in China from scratch, company founding - Managing international team and resources for succesful site launch - Recruitment and training of the Chinese team. - Setup company processes, system and standards - Full P&L responsibility

- Coordinating Customer Business Unit activities in the plan under the plant manager. - Monitoring running-, and starting products. - Daily customer contacts - Designing new assembly lines or machines, new manufacturing concepts, project quality system setup. Cost-analysis, time plans, project resource management. - Cross-functional team management (Logistics, QS, Manufacturing engineering, Production, Controlling)

- Managing an entire manufacturing area from manufacturing engineering side. - Optimizing the manufacturing processes (LEAN), constantly improving the production efficiency, - Designing new assembly lines and machines,new manufacturing concepts, project quality-system setup.
