- 2 Jahre, Jan. 2022 - Dez. 2023
Project Manager Research and Development
French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission
I led R&D to industrialize highly fluorescent carbon quantum dots (CDs) for applications in phosphors, sensors, water treatment, and anti-counterfeiting. I managed projects by organizing meetings, monitoring budgets, coordinating reports, and supervising teams. I developed and integrated CDs into polymer films as phosphors for optoelectronic devices (patent filed), engineered biomass-derived CDs for scalable production, and collaborated with CEA LETI to align product performance with industrial standards.
- 3 Jahre und 1 Monat, Dez. 2018 - Dez. 2021
Researcher - Post doctoral
Institut de Chimie Séparative de Marcoule, ICSM, CEA Marcoule, France
I delivered key innovations in carbon dot-based materials for beta scintillation, environmental sensors, solid-state emissive devices, and room-light excited fluorescence. I designed and developed the first CDs-based plastic scintillator (patent filed), fabricated ON–OFF fluorescent probes for metal ion detection, and elucidated structure–property relationships. I also managed experiments, data analysis, patent drafting, supervised Master’s students, and performed time-resolved studies at ELYSE, ICP, Orsay.

Research Fellow
National Taipei University of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan
• Developed dual-functional nanomaterial photocatalysts (TiO₂, In₂O₃, α-Fe₂O₃/RGO, SiO₂@α-Fe₂O₃ core–shell) for water treatment, and energy applications. • Identified key photocatalytic reaction intermediates using in-situ DRIFT-FTIR spectroscopy; optimized catalyst properties via sol-gel and ultrasonication methods.
- 4 Jahre und 11 Monate, Okt. 2013 - Aug. 2018
Doctoral Researcher
Anna University, BIT campus, Tiruchirappalli, India
I designed and developed reusable photocatalysts by embedding metal complexes in zeolites and integrating dye-sensitized ZnO nanoparticles into mesoporous silicates for visible-light-driven hydrogen production and water treatment. Applied DFT calculations and time-resolved spectroscopy to study host–guest interactions, mechanisms, achieving enhanced catalytic efficiency for sustainable energy and environmental applications. I also planned experiments, analyzed data, published results and supervised interns.
- 3 Jahre und 11 Monate, Nov. 2009 - Sep. 2013
Junior Research Fellow
Anna University, BIT campus, Tiruchirappalli, India
• Investigated photophysical properties of cobalt complexes and achieved the first crystallization of cobalt tetraammine (carbonato-κ²O, O′) cobalt(III) perchlorate. • Developed and engineered semiconductor nanocomposites with enhanced photocatalytic performance for effluent/water treatment. • Coordinated experiments, analyzed data, and reported results.
