I am a Scala developer for an online language learning platform.

I am part of the team responsible for maintaining the mailing system which constitutes our core business.

I did my thesis research on the subject of dependency-based language modeling in the domain of automatic speech recognition.

I taught classes on natural science, the English language and Anglophone culture at an English language high school in Spain.

I helped to design and administer the Filemaker database at the core of the company’s business model. I also interpreted and implemented suggestions for improvements to this database presented by members of the QA and production departments. In particular, I took charge of a complete and successful overhaul of the QA recording and auditing process.

I wrote code for a Kinect-driven video game that was used in a clinical trial to test the effectiveness of certain types of exercise in reducing the deterioration of brain function in the elderly.

I graded homework for MTH 211, discrete mathematics.

I wrote C code for interfacing with Linux sound card drivers, to be used as examples in a text book on digital media.
