A part of my duties as a non-commissioned officer was training and leading young soldiers coming from a multicultural environment. Adapting to the quickly changing environment and working with teams of various nationalities, it was an absolute necessity to understand and adapt to cultural differences and working conditions during multinational deployments.

Organizing and coordinating the smooth flow of parts, equipment, transportation availability and even the manpower provided was a sometimes challenging experience. Organizational skills were an absolute must in terms of effectively setting up the staff and also for the leadership, coordination and the motivation of other workers. Management skills were a necessity regarding preparation and execution of business plans, policies and procedures
