After more than 20 years of working in Executive IT Management positions of global SMI & DAX companies, it’s time to share the experience gathered and to support other companies and CxOs in shaping their digital transformation strategy, now. I'm leading the Global Transformation Strategy Team focused on providing practitioner advisory services to help guide today’s enterprise IT leaders to make the right decisions and accelerate their secure cloud transformation journeys and overall IT strategies.

As CIO, I have created the global IT strategy and have managed the IT transformation program “Enable 2020/2023”, targeting employee efficiency and customer engagement, next to operational excellence. I have transferred the decentral IT organization into a structured global group with captive operation centers on the Philippines and an IT innovation center in Spain. New and advanced technologies such as ML, AI and cognitive services got introduced by me to drive efficiency, effectiveness and mine data.

As CIO of CGM I’ve been part of the extended senior management board, reporting to the Group CEO. IT is the core business of CGM, Germany's leading eHealth/Healthcare Software provider. As the CIO I had responsibility for internal IT and customer services in Group data center, serving more than 400.000 customers, globally.

As a member of the Schindler Informatik AG board, I’ve been responsible for the overall IT infrastructure & security strategy. Reporting to the Informatik AG CEO and Group CIO, I’ve been managing the global IT infrastructure strategy, services and operations in about 1.000 locations serving more than 45.000 employees with data and mobility infrastructure.

At HeidelbergCement I had global responsibility for all IT infrastructure components, serving about 55.000 employees in more than 2.700 locations with client, server, data center, mail, application hosting, network and any other Telco services. For other than group wide-enterprise applications, my team also provided application support (more than 130 applications worldwide).
