As Head of Business Unit, I am responsible for providing an excellent service to our customers, maintain healthy relationships and increase in revenue and profitability of the business by developing new products. I report to the CEO on P&L, Revenue & EBITDA.

I was responsible for M&A and Strategic Business Partnerships. During this time, we acquired and integrated 2 companies in the digital space and made 5 product & sales strategic partnerships with US & EU companies in software and telco business.

I lead an international Technical Sales team which was responsible to do demos, trials and conduct customer meetings on technical issues. Personally, apart from budget and resource planning, I looked over designing of new products from customers wishes to company's R&D and maintained relationships with key customers on QoS related matters in Radio and Core network area of a telco. The key customers were mostly mobile network operators around the globe such as Telekom, Vodafone, O2 etc.

• Design QoS solutions for radio and core network areas of 2G/3G mobile and fixed line networks • Optimization of performance of existing network components • Technical consultancy for extension of current network towards LTE or IMS advanced • Business plan and sales strategy development • Focal point for communication between different international teams and groups • Conduct workshops and trainings for Keynote SIGOS product base as well as NGN networks

Project management and project engineering of testing of QoS of telecom networks including, RAN and Core Network components. Risk management for national and international projects (in Africa, Asia and Europe) comprising several vendors. Complete project acceptance etc.

Robust transmission of video (H.264) over wireless networks. Research and development of packet scheduling algorithm for WiMAX base station etc.

Network traffic policing and shaping. Projects in Information Security.

Development of a P2P File Sharing Architecture Based on the BitTorrent Protocol, statistically Enhanced to Provide a Realistic Comparison with current industry

Designed web based interface for HLR (Home Location Register) and new CORBA based interface for ngHLR (next generation HLR)

Worked on the testing of Push-To-Talk Service. Programmed a Java based simulator for SIP protocol which completely emulates the behavior of Push-To-Talk service

Securing Wireless LAN: Testing and simulation of different attack scenarios on WLANs using third party tools. Deployment of security techniques concerning different scenarios. Implementation of CISCO security modules of Open Authentication, Shared Key Authentication, IPSec etc.
