All of these positions required great attention to detail. At times I had to give presentations to committees. I considered teamwork a vital part of my job.

    Key role in library automation project, creating a comprehensive database of all library materials using Microsoft Access. Transferred records of new book acquisitions from the weekly newsletter into the Access database, maintaining an up-to-date catalog. Collaborated with data processing personnel, including programmers, to ensure the successful implementation and functionality of the database. Created and published a weekly newsletter.

    Part of a six-person department, managing a diverse range of responsibilities that expanded significantly due to staff shortages. Installed new computer systems. Managed three busy phone lines, responding to user inquiries and providing technical guidance to students on accessing the library catalog via modem, as well as troubleshooting computer issues for staff, both remotely and on-site. Supported library administration's software.
