Working via numerous commercial and technical workstreams to reduce the maintenance cost of Rolls-Royce aircraft engines during engine shop visits in Singapore.

Currently working on the Trent 900 engine project as a Service Engineer. The role encompasses many requirements, such as in-service event investigations, being part of Integrated Product Teams for product modifications, communication with customers and dealing with engine in-service issues.

Completed a 6-month secondment working at Rolls-Royce/Lufthansa overhaul base as a technical representative for Rolls-Royce Airbus engines (Trent 500, 700 & 900). I was the focal point for all product technical queries and issues.

Worked within IAE providing nacelle & powerplant in-service support to the V2500 engine found on the Airbus A320 & Boeing MD-90 aircraft. Tasks involved (but were are not limited to) reviewing service bulletins, developing fleet management for in-service problems, answering general day-to-day operational queries, improving the various product manuals, investigation events, fault finding & liaising with the nacelle/powerplant component providers.

Worked as part of Overhaul Support as Repair Technologist on the Hot End (turbine blades, discs, Nozzle Guide Vanes etc), Technical Variance (TV) team. TV’s are written in response to damage to a component that varies from the dedicated repair scheme/inspection limits. My task was to compile TVs for several worldwide civil aerospace overhaul bases/operators throughout the world.
