Chaired by Lord Bilimoria, the Commission is a Parliamentarian and industry-led body which conducts high-level research inquiries aimed at driving new thinking around industrial policy in the UK. It is cross-party and cross-sectoral, and makes recommendations to government and industry in order to instigate positive change in the UK manufacturing sector. I will also be advising the Policy Connect team's work concerning Manufacturing, Design and Innovation.

Fijowave develops telecommunications products to remotely control equipment such as computers, telephone switches, IP gateways and set-top boxes. Key customer benefits are significant cost reduction, increased security and value added services. I am working with the company to translate the use of the this technology from the telecoms sector into the manufacturing, engineering and energy sectors.

Cavendish Enterprise is a group made up of six of the largest enterprise agencies across England, together with the National Enterprise Network. Our members are amongst the most prominent not-for-profit enterprise agencies in the country, each with over 30 years’ experience. I am a Non-Executive Director on the Board and member of the remuneration committee.

I am retained by the company to help create and implement business growth strategies and develop strategic partnerships.

PyTerra is a concept for integrating fragmented water infrastructure across the industry so that it performs like a single virtual water services network. (www.pyterra.co.uk) I work with the MD to create the strategy and find funding and partners

Chairman of the South East Region of the UK working with colleagues chairing the eight constituent branches of the IoD. The Institute of Directors is a non-party political organisation, founded in 1903, with approximately 35,000 members. Membership includes directors from right across the business spectrum – from media to manufacturing, professional services to the public and voluntary sectors. Members include CEOs of large corporations as well as entrepreneurial directors of start-up companies.

DMH Stallard is one of the UK's leading law firms. The firm works with larger private companies, PLCs and public sector organisations. advise the firm on issues concerning manufacturing. I write "thought leadership" articles and blogs for the firm concerning topics that are creating challenges for the sector. As well as advising the firm on sectoral growth strategies I also advise on expanding into new geographical regions and create relationships with other professional services firms.

I work in a retained capacity as a non-executive Director or advisor in both manufacturing and service sector businesses. I assist companies with their strategic planning and growth strategies providing "outside objectivity"​ assisting management best practice. I help firms grow by supporting their marketing and sales activities, I find investors and connect them to networks and contacts to provide mutual benefits.
