I wear many hats as trainer, team manager and business operations head. At LingoFacto, our aim is to be truly transformative for our clients in their strategic communication by giving them insights, inspiration, and guidance in seminars, coaching sessions, and consulting. We help professionals improve their communication skills to enjoy greater performance and achieve their goals.

Geprovas is a non-profit organization in the medical device industry. I was approached to write a business plan to activate financial support from investors for a new simulation training centre for vascular surgeons and cardiovascular explant analysis. With input from a team of 10 surgeons that I managed, a 50-page business plan was developed and presented to investors after my departure.

I joined to tackle some lingering start-up issues impacting the brand as a professional training company. My work touched every aspect from marketing to recruitment to technologies and web presence. Within months, I helped roll out a new website, new Learning Management System (LMS), new training materials, new salary format, and created a proper infrastructure to hire, onboard and manage new trainers.

I jumped in for seven months as Nova acquired two language companies and required the people, products, processes, and cultures of the three entities be merged into a cohesive and collegial culture. Not an easy task with 250 trainers at 5 locations, but for every problem there is a solution. I left them with new recruitment onboarding procedures, an education and training strategy, refreshed and standardized training processes, and a team of highly engaged trainers in sync with company vision.

I taught the most challenging groups - a wide range of French and international student groups (LV1, LV2, CIP, CIL, INET). I designed course content and exams at various linguistic levels for economic and political topics concerning the EU, UK, and US and became a key teacher for ENA recognized for the excellence of my language training.

This promotion was my first large leadership appointment with ownership of millions Euro in regional and group turnover. My challenges were to address stagnant turnover, improve trainer retention, modernize the LMS platform, and expand training channels and platforms.
