Emilie Eloy

I am doing my placement in R&D, in the Innovation Team at Kraft Foods in Banbury (England). I have executed different projects including building a technical, functional tool for use in R&D product development. I have scoped out project plan with key timings, carried out literature search on nutrition and health claims, highlighted considerations for product development, reviewed progress regularly with managers, flagged issues, presented final outcomes to senior managers.

I spent 6 months in a Research Laboratory Columbia University (New York) working on Alzheimer’s disease. I have independently carried out experiments with regular presentation of results to the rest of the team.

I have spent 6 months in the Institute of Physiology and Biochemistry of Nutrition in Kiel (Germany). I have contributed to the execution of a clinical study about the effect of quercetin consumption on atherosclerosis. I have worked on cell cultures, analysed results and regularly updated my team.
