• Perform calibration activities for turbocharged applications on test stand as well as in-vehicle for various Original Engineering Manufacturers in the automotive industry • Developed GUI in Matlab that allows user to calibrate the torque model in real-time based on data obtained from the engine dynamometer • Daily use of AVL Concerto & Cameo, ETAS Inca, and Microsoft Office to complete calibration activities • Daily business conducted entirely in German

• Conducted feasibility studies for new method of data collection that expedites the engine mapping process • Collected and analyzed dynamometer data for calibration of variable cam schedule and torque model for new development engine • Supervised engine test cell including the creation and running of tests as well as troubleshooting

I began working for Powder Process Solutions (PPS) as a summer intern prior to my senior year of college. PPS provides custom solutions for clients in the bulk powder handling industry. I participated in all aspects of project management from project kick-off to commissioning. The part of the job I enjoyed most was visiting the sites and performing equipment checks and commissioning. Being able to see the final product and how the components of the system interacted with each other was very beneficial.

I conducted a small-scale experiment that measures the amount of oxidation formed on zirconium alloys in O2 and steam environments at temperatures that were observed in the large-scale experiments. I then organized the large amount of data collected and submitted a detailed report to Dr. Steinbrück.
