Direct operations and operations strategy. Responsible for profit and loss on OE business. Scope: 12 plants in USA / Mexico/ Brasil, 700 MioUSD and 2450 people, 5 product lines (Chassis, wipers, systems protection, lighting, fuel pumps). 50/50 between aftermarket and OE.

-Generating profit improvement proposals of 1 Mio USD/year on average every month. -Instilling a cost reduction culture (processes, lingua, reporting, accountability…), facilitating SWOTs, setting targets, organizing value analysis workshops, PDCA wheels, … -Running benchmarks and profit improvement programs on all lines of the Profit & Loss structure (sales, material, freight, duties, production and plants infrastructure, R&D and general overhead).

Guide and lead strategic purchasing and controlling for 4 divisions, Seats structures, Doors, Latches and Motor Drives. Integrate the newly acquired division into the Brose organization, in terms of supplier strategies, controlling for plants and projects.

Worldwide P&L responsibility for 3 product groups, in tandem with a “Technical” partner.

Managed the location Purchased Volume 65 Mio. Usd, Management of 9 people, and coached, as a global commodity manager, two team leaders and their teams with 75 Mio. Usd of Purchased Volume.
