Lead the large-scale protein production lab (fermentation scale from 2L - 100L) with 3-5 associates to produce antibodies, antigens, tool proteins and therapeutic proteins for Biologics projects from recombinant mammalian cells (transiently or stably transfected) and hybridoma cultures in cost-effective way. Act as Functional Lead for Outsourcing collaboration (eight FTE), being responsible for scientific and technical questions as well as coordination of protein production; perform financial overview

In addition to previos task, be responsible for work distribution and entry point of 0.1- to 2-liter scale transient expression and purification to support pre-clinical research activities as well as to contribute towards moving Biologics portfolio Forward, drive implementation of new technological solutions and instrumentation, act as a core member on project for customized automated 2-D purification Äkta pure system.

• Work in a laboratory with emphasis on small-/medium-scale production of selected candidates for in vitro and in vivo Targets, independently run 0.1- to 2-liter scale of transient mammalian expression and purification to support pre-clinical research activities as well as to contribute towards moving Biologics portfolio Forward, continuously optimize up- and downstream process of antibody production
