My research was focused on the development of new strategies for cancer diagnostics and therapy. The project involved cooperation with internal and external partners and required independent performance and analyis of experiments based on current methods in biochemistry, molecular biology and cell biology. In addition, I supervised students during internships and bachelor and master theses.

My fields of study included oncology, developmental biology, immunology and chemical biology. I did my Master's thesis in the area of cell and developmental biology, characterising the role of a specific protein in neural development, using the model organism Drosophila.

My fields of study focussed on all aspects of biochemistry, including physiology, protein biochemistry, and molecular and cellular biology. I did my Bachelor's thesis in the field of virology, focussing on the biogenesis of Hepatitis B viral particles.
