• Selection of commercial lithium ion cells for Ather vehicle • Establishing communication and coordination channels with cell manufactures. • Primary contact point for global vendors for EV cells. • Mentoring fellow associates on cell testing, risk identification and root cause analysis. • Defining Ather vehicles battery boundary conditions to improve pack life and safety. • Providing cross functional technical support for cell related issues & on field RCA.

• Training tech staff to fabricate 18650 cells. • DoE for optimizing cell design to achieve better life and thermal performance of 18650 cells. • Benchmark commercial 18650 cells to build reference point for Ather cell performance. • Developed 18650 cells and formulated cell testing DoE to understand life expectancy and safety of cells, specifically for Indian use case.

• Selection of instrument for cell fabrication and set up process for 18650 cells fabrication. • Sourcing anode & separator materials for lithium ion battery, established method for anode slurry perpetration and cell materials characterization. • Devised analysis methods to compare electrochemical performance of various raw materials and internally prepared cells for different fabrication processes, design and cell raw materials.
