My responsibilities included: - Packaging of spices in the polypropylene pouches of the different sizes (100, 200, 500, 1000g pouches) - with Rovema 280/400 packaging machine with SDH auger doser as a dosing system. - Replacement of the machine parts such as cutting knives, driving augers, dosing augers and the lubrication of the machine as part of the maintenance. - Cleaning and disinfection of the machine parts in order to keep the hygiene regulations.

For my master's thesis I did a research about ultrasonic extraction of phenolic acids from barley husk using response surface methodology. The goal of my research was to determine the optimal conditions of ultrasonic extraction with the aim to yield the maximal amount of phenolic acids that could be used in the fortification of cookies.
