Responsible for the design and development of sealing solutions for the automotive and general industry markets. Developed and implemented a wide range of engineering standards for the optimization of internal work flow processes. Standardized layout calculations, customer databank structures, CAD templates as well as failure analysis reports. Benchmarked and implemented a new 3D CAD system to aid in the standardization and automation of current product designs and manufacturing practices.

Responsible for the process optimization of the OR-2000 injection molding and automated post-processing production cell. Shortened finishing operations up to 25% through the construction of a pre-cryogenic de-flashing tumbler, adaptation of wash jets in the washing unit and shortened post cure times through the adjustment of software controlled heating cycles. Designed and constructed a number of hydro-mechanically driven devices for assisting in the handling of heavy compression and injection molding tools

Responsible for the European wide user and application support of approx. 80 design and construction engineers. Developed lead center specific CAD courses using inter-company product examples, compiled and distributed a list of work-a-rounds for common seal and vibration control design problems. Held customer specific training for Unigraphics and iMAN database applications. Standardized and developed diverse CAD automation processes in order to reduce construction lead times.

Supported engineering in the design and development of radial shaft, bearing, and piston seals as well as the development of compression mold tooling. Served as the department CAD mentor for Unigraphics related design and application support questions. Achieved a 50% design time reduction through the successful automation of 42 parametric and 5 fully parametric 3D CAD product models. Standardized 10 product sealing groups and designed leakage test gauge equipment.

Facilitated the training of management in the use of Cisco database, AutoCAD and Archibus software applications. Customized AutoCAD facilities management software to meet customer demands. Over 500 hours of hands on experience working in a clean room environment. Successfully digitalized more than 10,000 sq. feet of manufacturing floor space and 5,000 feet of utility lines for micro-processor manufacturing equipment.
