John Sedivy

John serves as President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Analytica. As the first founding member and President of Analytica John sets the vision for the firm and transforms this vision into tangible business objectives that seek to make a difference in our world. As CEO John ensures organizational alignment to these objectives and is constantly reaching out to other innovative entrepreneurs who may be in alignment with our vision.

Served as the lead systems engineer responsible for establishing, maintaining, and tailoring a structured systems engineering process for rapidly growing research and development (R&D) company. In addition, collaborated with business development to integrate the technical systems engineering process with the developed company business development processes. Other highlights include managing five new product development efforts in parallel, management of three external consultants.

Served as a System Safety Engineer responsible for managing the System Safety Program for new system development for Navy programs to include but not limited to aircraft, ship based systems, Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles, Directed Energy Weapons (DEW), Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM), and Anti-Swimmer Grenade (ASG) programs. Also performed System Safety analyses to include but not limited to System Safety Program Plan (SSPP), System Safety Working Group (SSWG), and Preliminary Hazard List (PHL).

Provided systems engineering support to the Forward Based X-Band –Transportable (FBX-T) Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) element Ground Test effort. Developed and maintained MDSE requirements using the DOORS tool. Developed MDSE architecture by use of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and Unified Modeling Language (UML) methodologies.

Served as the Systems Engineering Manager (SEM) and Project Engineering Manager (PEM) on the Special Print and Display Equipment III (SPADE III) Engineering Model Development (EMD) effort. Served as the Cost Account Manager (CAM) responsible for providing Earned Value (EV) reports and Basis of Estimates (BOE) to program management and to the finance department. Conducted new system concept studies, system trade analysis, risk analysis, and feasibility studies.

Demonstrated technical proficiency in the troubleshooting and repair of F-18 EW Prime Mission and Support Equipment. Workcenter supervisor responsible for the productivity and technical competence of fifteen maintenance technicians. Quality Assurance (QA) designated Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI).

Minor in Aviation Safety
