- Cross-functional business development through OPEX in collaboration with functional process owners (General Mgnt, Finance, SCM, Sales, HR, PM, Eng) - Development, integration and governance of new business processes / best practices, incl. training of personnel - Sharing of best practices with other LBUs on global level in ABB - Measuring and reporting of financial benefits, Quality Metrics / KPIs from OPEX to Global BU - Member of the Mgnt Team in the LBU - Member of the Quality Mgnt Team in LD-PS

- Leading a dept of Sr. Project Managers (direct reports), exec. turn key substation projects of typically 50-150 MUSD - Project portfolio responsibility (financial forecast: Rev, CF, R&O and progress reporting / sensitivity analysis) - Attending STECOs for large consortium project on Sr. Mgnt Level - Tender support to Sales: Operational inputs like manpower costs, execution plan, org. setup etc - Risk Reviews for tenders - Resource load planning of PM dept. - Support to Sr. PMs in Dispute resolutions

- Leading Project Teams in different ABB units and physical locations - Project Director and Consortium Leader of Large Substation Consortium Projects of sizes >100MUSD - Project control and responsibility of all areas and activities from contract signing to handover to Clients: design, SCM, production, logistics, planning, Civil Works, Site, warranty - Reporting of Projects financials and progress to LBU Mgnt Team and STECO - Extensive Change / Claim mgnt and Dispute resolutions - Process improvements

- Production & Delivery of SF6 Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) Substations, including Site Services - Leading Project Teams (design, SCM, production (in-house), logistics, planning, site services) - Projects of typically 30-50MUSD - Project control and responsibility of all areas from contract signing to handover to Clients and internally to Service / After Sales - Reporting of Projects to Head of Projects and Head of Controlling (financial forecast - Rev, CF, R&O and progress) - Change / Claim mgnt

- Delivery of Static VAR Compensation (SVC) Stations, including Site Services - Leading Project teams in different locations (design, SCM, production, logistics, planning / scheduling, civil works, installation - testing - commissioning, warranty) - Project control and responsibility of all areas from contract signing to handover to Clients - Reporting of Projects to Head of Projects and Head of Controlling (financial forecast - Rev, CF, R&O and progress) - Change / Claim management

- Turn Key Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) Substations & AIS Substation Solutions, including Site Services - Leading Project teams in different locations (design, SCM, production, logistics, planning, CW, site, warranty) - Project control and responsibility of all areas from contract signing to handover to Clients - Reporting of Projects to Head of Projects and Head of Controlling (financial forecast - Rev, CF, R&O and progress) - Change / Claim mgnt and Dispute resolutions - Process improvements

Selected into a group of 25 Trainees from over 3000 applicants having M.Sc. or Ph.D. degrees in Engineering. - 15 months program including a minimum of 6 months international assignment - Assignments in Sweden: 1. ABB Corporate research (innovation / development), 2. ABB Automation Systems - Pulp & Paper (Sales), 3. ABB Switchgears (Project Management) - International assignment: 7 months in Vietnam as deputy Local Project Manager
