Manage the Department by setting up standards of underwriting excellent in order to achieve a positive underwriting balance; Provide effective and efficient underwriting control by regular audit on policies issued essuring accounts written are within the set standards and guidelines, including but not limited to rating, policy terms and conditions; Organize the Department in a manner that will enable the staff members to efficiently perform each assigned task; Conduct training and mentoring to staff.

Assess properties and conduct surveys of their exposure to risks. Check policy terms and conditions and ensure compliance with the rules, regulations and rates as well as within the underwriting guidelines set by the Company. Maintain computer-processing systems and develop new programs conforming with the system requirements.
